It's Thanos vs. the Maker (a.k.a. Cosmos, a.k.a. the Beyonder, a.k.a. Skippy the Wonder Weasel) in a no-holds-barred, cosmic brawl that answers the oft-asked question: Quisp or Quake?

Samaritan Part 4 of 6. Swad is angry at Cole for getting him censured. Cole is joining a team that is going to the Kylns, against his better judgement, in order to avoid Swad.

Thanos slowly gets up after the Maker--the current name for Kosmos, previously known as the Beyonder--creates a major explosion. He meets Skreet, a pixie-like creature holding Mynx. Although she is extremely obnoxious, she also provides him with a lot of information.

Meanwhile, Gladiator and Starlord talk over their intentions. Gladiator explains that he volunteered to stay in the Kylns in case something went wrong with the Maker's containment and he had to assassinate her. She was put in the Kylns because she killed a Shi'ar colony. She turned herself mortal, and was much less powerful than previously, so they were able to capture and contain her.

Thanos attacks the Maker, and defeats her by shutting off her mind. Her body is still alive, and because of that her spirit is still contained. If they had killed her, her spirit would have been been released from her body. Gladiator thanks Thanos for what he has done.
